Who am I?

I am a lifelong Disney fan with a special affection for Walt Disney World.

I made my first trip to Walt Disney World in 1974 when I was seven years old and have been going back periodically ever since, for a total of 14 trips to the parks. In one stretch, I went eight years in a row.

There’s not much I haven’t seen or done at WDW, and I’ve kept up with most of the changes that have occurred at the resort over the decades. Some of them have been great (addtion of other theme parks, expansion of the marketplace, etc.), while some of them have been not so good (Richard Petty Driving Experience, closing of River Country). I’m also a pretty avid Disney pin collector, specializing mostly in pins that have something to do with a park or resort attraction or hotel.

When I’m not fantasizing about going to Disney World, I am an Information Technology professional with a beautiful wife and a 4-year-old son, both of whom love Walt Disney World as much as I do. My other interests are my church, history, politics and University of Alabama football.
